A limited edition of Hyundai’s high-performance i30 N has been announced, with only 75 models coming to the UK.

Priced from £38,190, British versions of the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition will be available only in the hatchback bodystyle, fitted with an 8-speed DCT transmission and a choice of two no-cost body colours – Phantom Black Pearl and the new Serenity White Pearl finish.

As well as special styling features, the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition is also equipped with additional safety equipment not yet seen on the i30N range, including blind spot collision avoidance assist, rear collision avoidance assist, and safe exit assist.

Exterior changes for the Drive-N Limited Edition include the 19-inch forged alloy wheels finished in a dark bronze matte as opposed to the standard i30 N’s dark satin grey matte, black Hyundai emblems front and rear, red and gold decals on the side, front and rear, and two Drive-N badges in dark bronze matte on the wings that also display the GPS coordinates of the home of the N models, the Hyundai Motor Europe Test Centre at the Nürburgring in Germany.

Interior changes for the i30 N Drive-N Limited Edition include N Light Seats with red accents to the back rest, an Alcantara covered steering wheel, gear stick gaiter, handbrake lever and centre console armrest all finished with red stitching.

The red theme continues with red seatbelts, red N and Drive Mode steering wheel controls and exclusive Drive-N Limited Edition carpet mats that feature a unique Drive-N logo and completed with red and white stitching.

Each Drive-N Limited comes with a unique numbered badge, depicting its position among the limited production volume of 800 total units. Alongside the UK’s 75 vehicles, various European markets will receive a total of 545 vehicles, with Hyundai Australia taking the remaining 180 units.

Performance figures for the special model are unchanged from the i30 N which give the car a 0 to 62mph acceleration time of 5.4 seconds, a maximum of 155mph with fuel economy from its 2.0-litre 280ps turbo petrol engine rated at 33.5mpg with emissions of 191g/km.

Prices correct as of 01/06/22 and are subject to change.
