Honda have kicked off 2017 in style with the launch of the new generation Honda Civic.
The all-new 10th Generation Honda Civic comes armed with a whole host of new features, and an impressive specification. The brand-new 5 door hatch will be the sleekest and sportiest Civic ever, proving the cars popularity will not be ending anytime soon.
At launch the car will come with 2 engine options - a 1.0-litre three-cylinder with 127bhp and a 1.5-litre four-cylinder unit with 180bhp. Both will be available in a six-speed manual gearbox or CVT auto, and both will be highly efficient offering the best in both power and economy. The new model is expected to have low running costs thanks to its fuel-efficient engine offerings, especially in the 1.0-litre model, which combines an Eco mode and an annual fuel consumption of 58.9mpg depending on the model.
Not content with just offering new engines, Honda have also overhauled the whole look of the car. With sleek aerodynamic sports styling, and a 478-litre boot capacity, the new Civic has the potential to suit all kind of drivers, whether it's needed as a family car or performance vehicle.
In addition, it features include cutting-edge technology, with Bluetooth®, and USB for smartphone connectivity you can enjoy your music on the go. Certain models will also connect to your phone - via Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™ - to the 7" touchscreen to access apps, make calls and stay connected wherever you venture.
There's some impressive safety technology too, with Collision Mitigation Braking System; Traffic Sign Recognition; Lane Departure Warning; Intelligent Speed Limiter; Road Departure Mitigation; Intelligent-Adaptive Cruise Control; and Lane Keeping Assist System.
