Introducing the all-new Ford E-Tourneo Courier
All-new E-Tourneo Courier is another model which marks Ford's mission to achieve zero emissions across all of its models by 2035.
A clean sheet all-electric design has been adopted for the all-new Ford E-Tourneo Courier which showcases a 5-seat multi-activity vehicle sporting SUV-like styling.
Being fully-electric, it promises to be complemented by an extensive array of digital tech to keep you connected whilst on the move.
Take a look below to see what to expect when Ford launch the car, set to be in 2024.
Design and Practicality
Designed for adventure, all-new E-Tourneo Courier is completely different from the ground up and delivers space and practicality in a compact package.
Being fully-electric, it's got a unique futuristic look about it, especially when you clock it from the front, with its coast-to-coast light bar complemented by the signature Ford chrome diamond grille.
It's not just designed for the future too, as you'll also get much more practicality than the outgoing Tourneo Courier, there's 44 percent more boot space too.
There's going to be a number of stylish trim levels including a unique 'Active' model with a contrasting roof colour, roof bars, wheel arch mouldings and quirky seat fabrics.
Technology and Safety
Inside, there's plenty of tech to keep you connected with the all-new Ford E-Tourneo Courier.
It's a fully-digital affair with a 'digitboard' that comprises of a completely digital instrument cluster along with a SYNC 4 infotainment 12-inch touchscreen, for a truly modern and futuristic vibe.
Of course, there's Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, along with a phone charging pad to help keep you fully-connected when on an adventure in the all-new Tourneo Courier.
There will also be convenient over-the-air updates to further enhance the ownership experience over time also.
As for safety, there will be a comprehensive plethora of driver assistance systems, featuring multiple driving modes to make driving easier and safer. Normal, Eco and Slippery drive modes will mean drivers can adapt the car to varying conditions.
Engines and Performance
Being fully-electric, there's no engine choices for the new E-Tourneo. Instead, a 100 kW e-motor will power the all-new Ford E-Tourneo Courier, which will also feature a selectable one-pedal driving mode.
Official performance and fuel efficiency figures will be published closer to the all-new E-Tourneo Courier's release.
It's worth noting that Ford will also offer a regular petrol Tourneo Courier, in the form of a 1.0-litre EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engine, which will enter production a little earlier in late 2023.
The all-new Ford E-Tourneo Courier will offer both 11 kW AC and 100 kW DC charging options.
A typical overnight AC charge will take around 5.7 hours when going from 10 to 100 percent.
A DC fast charge enables 54 miles of range in just 10 minutes, whilst a 10 to 80 percent charge in around 35 minutes.
