This is the new ADAM ROCKS AIR, which is new to the Adam family. The ROCKS comes from the tough-looking exterior, and the air comes from the folding canvas roof. This car is said to be inspired by parkour athletes. The ADAM ROCKS exterior is like nothing else on the road; it retains its regular Adam shape, but has 15mm raised suspension and wider stance. Anthracite cladding around the wheel arches, bumpers and side sills give the Adam a tough off-road look.
Standard features on the ADAM ROCKS are the 17" Swissblade alloys. These can be upgraded to the 18" wheels you see in the video. In addition to the alloys, you also get tinted rear windows and daytime running lights. The canvas folding roof is electrically operated, and retracts in just 7 seconds.
Inside the ADAM ROCKS AIR, you can colour coordinate the dashboard, seats and the panels on the doors, and there's a wide variety of different colour schemes to choose from. Also standard is cruise control, air conditioning (which can be upgraded to climate control), and a CD player with MP3 compatibility. You can also upgrade to the IntelliLink multimedia system, which incorporates DAB radio and USB/Bluetooth connectivity.
The car featured here is fitted with the 1.4-litre 87PS petrol engine, and achieves 53mpg on the combined cycle. Also available is the familiar 1.2, and the all-new 115PS turbocharged 1-litre, which accelerates from 0-62mph in under 10 seconds, while achieving 55mpg combined.
As with the original Adam, the boot capacity is 170 litres, and can be increased to 663 with the rear seats folded down.
Overall, the ADAM ROCKS AIR is a totally unique take on the crossover, combined tough looks with a fun personality. Click the button below to view our latest offers, or to book test drive.
