The all-new Renault KADJAR is a brand new crossover, which boasts plenty of interior space and boot capacity - making it an ideal family car. Following Renault's design language, the exterior features a raked roofline and a sleek, fluid front end. A trio of engines, two petrol and one diesel, power the new KADJAR range. The petrol choice is the TCe 130, which offers healthy performance from an available 130PS of power. Emissions are also low on the petrol model at just 126 CO2 g/km. The diesel range begins with the 1.5 litre dCi 110, which is available in both manual and automatic. The engine also boasts the best blend of economy and performance - an in fact this efficient diesel returns only 99 g/km CO2 and 72.4mpg.
The final engine in the KADJAR range is the capable dCi 130, which offers increased performance and 62.8mpg. This engine is available in both two and four-wheel drive, though as expected the 4WD option slightly affects performance figures.
Inside, the KADJAR features a great level of standard technology: with air conditioning, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity, a digital speedometer and electric front and rear windows. The Dynamique Nav Trim offers satellite navigation, powered by Renault's excellent R-Link 2 multimedia system - and controlled through a seven inch touchscreen, as well as dual-zone air conditioning, auto headlights and wipers plus Visio system for lane departure warnings and auto high or low beam. Highlights from further up the range include full leather and cloth upholstery, a high quality Bose sound system and both front and rear parking sensors.
The practicality of the KADJAR really shines through, thanks to the spacious interior which offers plenty of head and leg room for up to five adults. Boot space stands at a cavernous 472 litres, whilst options include a three-way adaptable boot floor for the ultimate versatility.
