The DS 3 has some fantastic new features adding to the already award winning supermini. Fun to drive and packed with premium spec, the interior also boasts the latest updates to in-car technology and overall styling.
The exterior now features a new face, which has a square-cut grille and a more angular bumper, giving it a more edgy design. The addition of a shiny chrome surround to the grille has given the DS3 a classier appeal, finishing off with the double wings motif, reaching out to the headlights and fogs. Still keeping the trademark features the customers love, and salutes the floating roof and two-tone paintjobs, by giving it 78 different roof and body colour combos.
Personalisation in the interior is vast, giving you multiple dashboard and interior fabric choices, making the DS3 unique to you. Standard equipment includes a chrome and leather-trimmed steering wheel, cruise control and speed limiter, and an auxiliary input with Bluetooth. Other features include air conditioning and folding electric mirrors.
The new additions include a new 7" touchscreen and the availability of MirrorLink, which removes 20 buttons, giving you literally every function at your fingertips.
Engines in the DS3 comprise five petrol and two diesel options. The pick of the petrol range is the Puretech 110, a 1.2 litre turbocharged unit with stop start technology. This engine provides great performance but with excellent economy figures at just 60.1 mpg, and is available in manual or automatic. Both a lower powered Puretech engine and a 1.6 litre turbocharged unit are also available.
Diesel engines take the form of the BlueHDi 100 and 120, both of which offer strong pulling power from low revs. The pick of the diesels, would be the BlueHDi 100, which has a tax-dogding 87g/km of C02 emissions.
The DS3 has comfortable room for five and an impressive boot capacity at 285 litres which is better than some popular rivals. Deep door pockets and storage cupboards means there's plenty of storage space around the cabin. With the addition of the SOS & Assistance pack, you'll always be safe, as the innovative system on-board will call emergency services by pressing the SOS button.
The updated DS3 has even more personalisation options and technology, giving you a stylish and practical car that has a great economy.
