Set up for the Duster is straightforward with four simple trim levels, two engines and a range of optional accessories to suit your needs.
Take your pick from two engine sizes: a 1.6-litre petrol engine and a 1.5 turbodiesel, which offers 109bhp. The Duster boasts strong fuel consumption too, returning more than 50mpg from the 1.5 turbodiesel, even with the four wheel drive model. Road tax is relatively cheap for an SUV too, at £130 per year.
Inside, the Duster has a very clean and roomy feel, with plenty of space for five passengers. It's available in four trim levels from the entry level Access model with electric front windows and height-adjustable steering wheel as standard. To the special edition Laureate Prime which benefits from alloy wheels, air conditioning, satellite navigation and cruise control.
Boot space starts at 408 litres for the four wheel drive, or a much improved 475 for the two wheel drive. When the rear seats are down the space is extended to 1570 or 1636 litres, depending on the two or four wheel drive option, making the duster very useful for moving bulky belongings around.
Safety has been extended on the Dacia Duster through the addition of anti-locking brakes, electronic stability control and brake assist as standard and is fitted with side and passenger airbags.
Overall, the Dacia Duster is a very attractive and practical SUV, that's great value for money.
