Ford Mustang

The hotly-anticipated, long-awaited, new 2015 Ford Mustang hit Ford Stores in UK this year. Paying homage to the classic style of the Mustang but with elements of modern styling, thanks to a canted nose, big grille and round headlights.

It's available in Fastback or convertible, with the long bonnet flowing downwards to reduce drag, making the car cut through the air with ease. The fierce Mustang is available with a 2.3-litre EcoBoost or a 5.0-litre V8, and is exclusive to Ford Stores.

Honda Civic Type-R

Honda has made sure the Type R delivers power, great handling, style and space all in one car, and was launched in the summer of 2015. The ultimate hot hatchback, the Civic has comfortable interior space for passengers, but still has the ability to feel like a race car when you unleash the potential of the 2.0-litre VTEC engine.

What's more, press the R+ button and the car will drop into race mode, making dials on your dash will turn red, altering the dampers, which get 30% stiffer, the steering gets heavier and the engine response is faster. This gives you the choice to have a quick but comfortable drive, or the race-like speed with added control.

Renault KADJAR

Showcased at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, the all-new Renault KADJAR is set to redefine the crossover segment with a blend of unique styling and innovative technology. The fluid designs and the bold addition of a masculine grille gives this crossover a powerful stance.

The practicality of the KADJAR really shines through, thanks to the spacious interior which offers plenty of head and leg room for up to five adults. Boot space stands at a cavernous 472 litres, whilst options include a three-way adaptable boot floor for the ultimate versatility. Vauxhall VIVA

The VIVA returned this year, having originally entered the market in 1963. The new Vauxhall VIVA pays homage to the original, still being a very versatile and affordable car but now also being a smart car.  It has everything you need, including five doors, up to five seats, class-leading comfort, ride and handling, which is all combined with elegant assistance technology.

This car really shines for city driving, thanks to great visibility, light steering and easy-to-use controls. Currently only available in manual, but will be specified with an automatic gearbox in early 2016.

Kia Picanto

This compact city car measures in at just 3.6-metres long, giving you ultimate flexibility when driving. It's available as a three and five door option, and as standard, is equipped with daytime running lights and central locking.

This compact city car has a brilliant economy, achieving over 60mpg and has enough boot space for the weekly shop, with 200-litres available. As with all new Kia models, it comes with a seven year warranty, giving you peace of mind.

If it's a practical and functional SUV that you want, the Dacia Duster is a fantastic option as a robust and useful SUV. Off-roading? The Duster can handle this without breaking a sweat, but it is also very dynamic, making it surprisingly comfortable on urban roads. It's available with four-wheel drive giving you more control when you need it.

It can be specified with alloy wheels, cruise control, air conditioning and even satellite navigation. The Duster benefits from up to 475-litres of boot space, which can be extended to a massive 1636-litres with the rear seats down.

Peugeot 208

Sporting a recent facelift, the Peugeot 208 is the brands best-selling car and through injecting the 208 with modern enhancements - including upgraded engines, better specs and new safety kit - it is back and better than ever. The 208 has a sharper front bumper, wider grille and newly-designed headlamps.

The upgraded, 1.6-litre BlueHDi engine emits just 79g/km of CO2 and returns a spectacular 94.2mpg. With a 285-litre boot, this car is ahead of its class and features a large opening, meaning the boot is not only large, but very practical as well. Hyndai Tuscon

With tonnes of space, stylish looks and a great drive, the Hyundai Tuscon has everything you need in an SUV. It can also achieve a similar economy of a hatchback, the Tuscon is smart pick for someone who needs an economical vehicle that's slightly larger.

The 1.7-litre CRDi 116PS Diesel Blue Drive Engine, achieves a combined fuel economy of 61.7mpg and emits 119g/km of CO2. The modern looks are supported through the bold front grill and rising shoulder line, giving it attitude. The boot space is very practical with a massive 513-litres to offer, which increases to 1,503-litres with the rear seats down.

This fantastic family hatchback, combines style with practicality, giving you an excellent all-rounder. Backed up by winning the Auto Express Compact Car of the Year in 2015, this classy looking car has a quality build and low running costs.

This is thanks to the Ecomotive technology and based on the 1.6-litre diesel, the SEAT Leon can achieve a fuel consumption of 85.6mpg on a combined cycle and only emits 87g/km of CO2, meaning it's currently tax-free. The Leon is available with a Tech Pack, which offers satellite navigation, a touchscreen multimedia player with DAB digital radio and LED lights with daytime running lights.

Citroen C4 Cactus

Practical yet fun, the Citroen C4 Cactus is still one of the most unique cars on the road and getting more popular all the time. It gives everything you want, without unnecessary extras - saving on cost and making the car lighter.

With its distinctive AirBuble on the side, the Cactus not only looks completely different but it also absorbs impacts, such as supermarket trollies, protecting the paintwork from scratches and dents. Nissan Qashqai

It's already one of the best-selling cars in Britain, thanks to premium comfort, space, performance and economy. The new chassis control system uses electronics to adjust the car's handling and ride comfort, giving the Qashqai great dynamics, which is useful to mould to your personal driving style.

It is also available in four-wheel drive which is useful if you plan to tour and tow with a trailer or caravan. Economy is fantastic, achieving 74.3mpg, based on the 1.5 dCi engine. This car easily accommodates three adults on the rear bench seat, with plenty of leg and headroom. There is also please of practical space, such as cubbyholes in the cabin and a compartment below the boot floor. The boot is also very spacious with 430-litre available.

Ford Focus RS

The fierce Ford Focus RS was announced early in 2015 with exciting features including 320PS from the 2.3-litre EcoBoost engine. All this power is sent through all four wheels and the six speed manual gearbox. The all-wheel drive system with torque vectoring will give drivers full control of the 320PS, making cornering more precise.

The Focus RS exterior design is both dramatic and functional, and it gives the car a more muscular character. The RS can also be specified with 19inch Michelin's track-focused Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. With a cult following, the RS is flying out of stores.

The compact yet spacious SEAT Mii offers a practical and fun solutions to city driving. Measuring up to just over 3.5-metres in length, it makes driving simple. The 60:40 folding rears give the Mii a maximum load space of 959-litres and still has 251-litres with all the seats in place.

Interior specification includes MP3 connectivity, air conditioning and electric windows as standard. Remote central locking and radio/CD player are also included. The Mii also has a full five-star Euro NCAP safety rating in standard form, and three ISOFIX seat fixings.

Renault Twingo

Smart to drive and with stylist looks, the Renault Twingo is smart to drive and is perfect for those who need a versatile city car that is also capable of motorway driving. Winning three coveted awards already, the Twingo is a very popular car among critics.

The engine is mounted at the back, giving Renault the ability to give the Twingo a stubby 'wheel at each corner' look with impressive space in the back, and resulting in an incredibly agile car.
