You can choose from four wheelbase lengths and three roof height options on a standard panel van. Or if you need to transport people and your tools, the crew van has seating for seven and can still carry the tools you need to get the job done. The options carry on from here to a whole host of conversions including tippers, dropsides, box vans, mini busses and Luton vans.
The Master benefits from Renault's latest engine technology; available as a turbocharged 110bhp, 125bhp or 150bhp engine. Or there's the option of the twin turbo Energy engine, delivering 135 or 165bhp. Economy is impressive, returning up to 40.9mpg on the LCV versions or 44.8mpg on the passenger van. A six speed manual gearbox is standard on the Master, or you can opt for the semi-automatic Quickshift6 option for clutchless driving.
Load space and accessibility is plentiful, with a sliding side door that opens between 1,050mm and 1,270mm, fitting a Euro pallet in either way. The full-height steel bulkhead protects occupants from a shifting load while up to ten anchorage points in the load floor keep your load stable.
Specification on the Renault Master is available in two levels. From the entry level 'Business' specification which includes DAB radio and electric front windows to the 'Business Plus' - including the addition of manual air conditioning and rear parking sensors.
Inside the cab there's plenty of storage: from the cup holders, to the dashboard and under the seats - where valuable items can be stored away out of sight. Everything is close to hand and set up to create the perfect mobile office. With a mounted Smartphone cradle, USB and Bluetooth connectivity you can ensure you're always connected. Then with the Business+ specification there's the option to fold the central front seat flat to create a sturdy table with pivot for additional working space. At this level you'll also benefit from a wide view mirror which is built in to the passenger vanity mirror to help you see into your blind spot. This simple but clever innovation gained the Renault Master 'WhatVan? Innovation Award for 2015.
Practicality and safety are very important to Renault, so no matter which Renault Master you choose, you'll benefit from the new generation ESC, hill start assist, extended grip control and Trailer Swing Assist as standard - helping you maintain control of your van.
Overall, the Renault Master is a reliable and practical work tool, with a great range of options meaning you can tailor your van to suit all your needs.
