The all-new Renault KADJAR is set to redefine the crossover segment with a blend of unique styling and innovative technology. Seen here in the launch colour Flame Red, this new SUV definitely looks the part thanks to its intrepid design.
A sporty and athletic brother to the Renault Captur, the KADJAR sets pulses racing with a fluid design language and bold additions such as its masculine grille and powerful stance. A robust build is complemented with a relatively small footprint - in fact the KADJAR is only 4.45 metres long.
With an elevated ground clearance of 190mm and roof rails, the KADJAR looks as if it's built for those with an active lifestyle. Exterior additions such as folding electric mirrors add to the KADJAR's practicality, whilst other flourishes include stunning 19-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and optional panoramic sunroof to make the most of your surroundings.
The KADJAR also boasts other optional practical features such as front and rear parking sensors and full 4x4 transmission, giving the KADJAR true go-anywhere ability all year round. The standard hill start assist feature and electric handbrake add to the tools in the KADJAR's arsenal.
On the inside, the KADJAR caters for everyone thanks to a capable and well organised interior. It makes a fantastic family car, with enlarged dimensions to boast comfortable room for five adults. Boot space is impressive for a car in this sector, and at 472 litres is more than enough for a full complement of suitcases or bags. With the rear seats folded flat, this space expands to a cavernous 1,478 litres which is ideal for anything from a set of skis or multiple golf bags.
Make no mistake though, for all its space the KADJAR is packed with features. Standard equipment includes DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity, all-round electric windows, air conditioning and digital speedometer. Cruise control and speed limiter also come as standard, making this crossover great for motorway cruising.
Models further up the range boast Renault's intuitive R-Link 2 multimedia system, which features satellite navigation powered by a 7-inch multimedia touchscreen. A full, surround sound Bose system and leather upholstery are also available as optional extras.
Safe as it is luxurious, the KADJAR boasts full LED headlights which are 20% more powerful than standard halogen beams, as well as cornering front fog lights, rear ISOFIX points and a tyre pressure monitoring system. The all-new SUV has also received a full five-star Euro-NCAP rating thanks to six airbags, ABS and stability control. You can then heighten these safety aspects further up the range with the Visio system for lane departure warning and automatic headlight beam adjustment.
