First Look at the Huge Coventry Used Car Centre

Evans Halshaw is excited to announce the opening of its state-of-the-art Coventry distribution centre, designed to de-fleet vehicles returning from lease.
The new centre is situated just next to our largest used Car Store in Coventry, which opened earlier this year.
De-fleeting is the process of preparing vehicles coming out of fleet to be moved on to different Evans Halshaw outlets throughout the UK. During this procedure, vehicles will be serviced to the highest standard and all repairs will be made to ensure they are immaculate when sold on.
The brand-new site also has a used car sales outlet, with vehicle display for over 400 cars and extensive vehicle refurbishment workshop capacity. This workshop includes wash bays with a unit which recycles all water, inspection bays, body shop for ‘SMART’ repairs, spray booths, a tyre bay and both wet and dry bays for the final clean/valet.
When refurbishment is complete, each vehicle will be sent to the state-of-the-art photography booth, which has a turntable for pictures and videos taken before they go onto the website.
The centre is expected to become fully operational towards the end of the year and handle over 25,000 vehicle de-fleets in its first full year of operation.
Since opening, the Coventry site has created 66 jobs for people in the local area, from entry level roles through to leadership. The launch of the new preparation centre has also created several new job opportunities for Vehicle Technicians, offering the opportunity to work within a brand-new workshop with state-of-the-art facilities, on a wide variety of vehicles.
The team is now recruiting to fill the final few vacancies, which include roles within Technical/ Mechanics, Accountancy, Sales and Administration.
