Having recently celebrated its 50th anniversary as Wolverhampton's main Ford dealership, the site on the Birmingham Road has made history again in being one of the first Ford Stores to open in the Midlands. In 1964, the building was first constructed, where the new dealership was known as the most modern Ford Centre in the Midlands, with a two-tier car park on the rooftop. Accessed by two heated ramps, the car park had enough room for 350 cars, with the most expensive vehicle at the time costing £600. As Wolverhampton make history again, they are showing off the latest Ford technology and a modern feel to the build.

To mark the new store's official launch after months of development, we had the honour of being joined by Ford Britain chairman, Andy Barratt, who reopened the Ford store for our existing and new customers. The look and feel of the store matches that of Ford's modern brand.

Customers will now be able experience exclusive Ford products, which are not available elsewhere, including the brand new Vignale, the iconic Mustang and the exciting new Focus RS four wheel drive. The timeless Model T which was first produced in 1908 is currently on display in the showroom. The new Ford Store will also give customers also an opportunity to view a highly sophisticated car customisation process for a totally unique and personalised service with their dream car as the end result.
