The Ford Transit Courier is a ground-up new van that brings enhanced connectivity and productivity for those looking at a compact modern van.
It helps strengthen the Ford Pro van line-up, offering no compromise, with more load space - 25 percent more than the previous generation, and being more connected than ever.
All this, whilst offering petrol, diesel and fully-electric versions.
Design and Practicality
As the most compact model in the Ford Transit family, the Transit Courier still punches well above its weight and offers a neat, clean design with increased load capacity in all dimensions, along with clever storage details too.
You'll fit in two Euro pallets with ease, and with 25 percent more space than the outgoing model, its uncanny compact size is quite the feat.
Despite its compactness, the bold, distinctive exterior looks smart without being too over the top or boring - it's a Transit after all, so offers the perfect blend of style whilst not forgetting its no-nonsense roots.
Technology and Safety
Van interiors aren't the most striking out there, but the Transit Courier manages to change that with a smart 12-inch digital instrument cluster and 12-inch central infotainment touchscreen available, for a sleek and striking interior vibe.
A 'squircle' steering wheel helps with increased legroom, along with improving visibility for the driver.
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility is standard and an innovative class-unique Office Pack includes a useful foldaway work surface to help turn your Transit Courier into a mobile office when needed.
Safety is also excellent, with multiple advanced driver assistance systems as standard, along with optional tech like Adaptive Cruise Control, Cross Traffic Alert and Reverse Brake Assist also available.
Engines and Performance
There will be a choice of engines upon launch, with exact details coming nearer the time.
However, what we do know is there's going to be petrol, diesel and even a fully-electric E-Transit which uses an 100kW electric motor.
Due to the van's compact proportions, it will no doubt be an absolute doddle to drive and ideal for jobs in tight city streets.

Charging
When opting for the dedicated fully-electric E-Transit Courier, the van can accept fast charging capabilities. This means charging the E-Transit Courier with 54 miles (87km) range can happen in just 10 minutes.
And if that wasn't enough, you can charge from 10 to 80 percent in less than 35 minutes.
11 kW AC overnight charging takes under 6 hours.
