This is the all-new 2015 Vauxhall Corsa. It really is all-new, and shares no mechanical components or body panels with the previous model.
The Corsa is one of Vauxhall's greatest success stories, since the release of the first Corsa in 1982, each subsequent model has taken Vauxhall to brand new heights.
With dynamic 3-door and luxurious 5-door models to choose from, all new Corsas come with distinctive design accents and a high quality interior. It's similar in length and width to the previous model, and the exterior is characterised by a familiar profile, striking front grille and brand new rear taillights.
On the Limited Edition model featured in the video, exterior features include 17" gloss black alloy wheels, a sports styling kit including front spoiler, prominent side skirts, chrome tailpipe, chrome fog light surround and a rear spoiler too. The black roof, front grille and wing mirrors complete the sports look. The mirrors are electrically adjustable and heated, too. You also get sports suspension and tinted rear windows.
The brand new Corsa has a streamlined interior design, offering premium features such as sports front seats, full leather steering wheel, sports pedals, touchscreen IntellLink Multimedia system, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity. You also get as standard air conditioning, cruise control, trip computer and a heated front windscreen for those frosty winter mornings. Optional extras include a downloadable BringGo app for navigation, hill start assist, parking assist, front camera system and blind spot detection. The interior is very spacious, with enough room in the back for three adults and offers good leg and head room.
The 1.4-litre engine in the model in the video generates 90PS of power, and achieves 55.3mpg combined fuel economy. Also available are the brand new 115PS 1-litre turbo and 100PS 1.4-litre turbo engines, for better fuel economy and power.
The boot capacity of the Corsa is the exact same as the previous model, giving a generous 285 litres of boot space. This can be increased by folding down the rear seats. You'll also notice on the Limited Edition model that the dark style rear taillights separate the car from the rest of the range.
Overall, the new Corsa looks great, it drives well and is packed with specification at an affordable price.
