With a recent facelift, the Kia cee'd is ready for 2016 with a revised front bumper and new engines. The five-door hatchback offers a practical and stylish approach to driving, with brilliant build quality and great driving dynamics.
The exterior has been given a newly designed front bumper featuring a flatter grille which is complimented by front daytime running lamps, emphasising a wide stance and making it feel modern and stylish. The revised bumper adds a level of volume to the back end of the car, with high-gloss black panels and LED lamp clusters. The cee'd also features new 16- and 17-inch alloy wheels to choose from.
The engine options are similar to before, but now has a new ecoTurbo three-cylinder turbo petrol engine available and a 1.6-litre CRDi diesel, increasing power and torque. Diesel models are also available with Kia's new 7-speed DCT gearbox. Economy is fantastic in the new Kia cee'd achieving a combined fuel economy of 78.5mpg and CO2 emissions from only 94g/km making it tax-free, based on a 1.6 CRDi with Idle Stop & Go.
The interior still keeps its high levels of comfort, but adds start/stop technology to all models with the Smart Entry System. Every cee'd model includes a revised air vent system with a chrome surround to accentuate the width of the cabin. There is also fully independent suspension, which improves comfort and handling in the cee'd. All diesel models features additional noise-insulating material under the bonnet and in the cabin giving you further comfort whilst travelling.
The 2016 model feature the highest level of connectivity ever offered in the cee'd range through the latest Kia Connected Services, which features TomTom®, through a stylish, modern-looking 7-inch central touchscreen. It is also linked to a colour reversing camera and DAB radio with MP3 compatibility becomes standard.
A range of additional safety equipment is available in the Kia cee'd, including Blind Spot Detection to inform you of any traffic when switching lanes and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, which prevents the car from being reversed into the path of another vehicle when leaving parking bays. The cee'd also gets an amazing warranty, with cover for seven years or 100,000 miles, including labour. Also the warranty is fully transferable to the next owner if the car is sold before the time or mileage limit expires, which helps the cee'd hold its value.
